Andu Masebo is a designer interested in the ways in which objects are made, the conditions under which they come to be, and the systems that dictate their context after production. With a background in fabrication, working with materials including wood, metal and ceramics, and a masters in product design from the Royal College of Art, Andu blurs the boundary between designer and maker, often finding inspiration and new connections as the distinction dissolves.
Andu’s design sensibility is rooted in simplicity and storytelling – the belief that a the process of making an object should be legible in its final form. This thinking is evident throughout his work, whether in the bespoke pieces he created forTOG’s flagship sustainable-construction project The Black & White Building, the modular tables he designed for AHEC’s exhibition No.1 Common, his birdhouse exhibition ‘Dwellings at the South London Gallery, or the behind-the-scenes live design-research project ‘A Good Idea’ for London Design Festival 2025.
Zetteler is proud to have worked with Andu Masebo since 2022, through active PR outreach, network-building, and providing guidance on strategic collaborations as his profile has grown and his practice has evolved.
Socially-driven, story-rich highlights for the festival.
