Few camping brands are like Attis Tents. Its storm-proof cotton tents are made from organic materials, making them equally warm in the cold and comfortably breathable in the summer. Perfect for the socially conscious adventurer, its product line is defined by planet-loving materials: ethically sourced organic cotton, recycled ocean-bound plastic and amazonian-protecting rubber.
In 2020, Katie Dufort and Kat Rothery started Attis Tents, and continue to run most aspects of the company – ranging across in-house prototyping to promotion – from their studio in Dalston. Having met in London, the two friends bonded over their shared love of camping and appreciation for quality and decided to start a design-led, locally produced and sustainable alternative to outdoor gear – purchasing all the materials to develop a unique prototype, that they then developed into the company’s headline product: the A-Frame Ridge tent.
Without funding or the backing of a bigger company, the duo made their first 50 A-Frame tents alongside awnings and kit bags, and today, they have the ambition to go much further by expanding the product line to include bags, clothing, equipment and beyond. On a mission to become known as the most environmentally conscious camping brand in the world, Attis Tents is meeting a new generation of consumers who want to connect with nature.
WHAT WE DO FOR Attis Tents
Impressed by Katie and Kat’s drive, and eager to support other London-based businesses doing their bit to build a better world, Zetteler is helping to raise awareness about Attis Tents, connecting them with new customers and industry allies.
