Initiated by the Mayor of London in 2018, the Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) programme is designed to preserve and promote London’s world-leading creative diversity. There are currently seven CEZs in Greater London: Croydon, Haringey, Hounslow, Lambeth, Lewisham, Waltham Forest and Hackney/Tower Hamlets. Each is a dedicated area where artists and creatives will find affordable permanent workspace and get the support they need to build their businesses and progress professionally. The zones are further enriched by outreach programmes in collaboration with local education providers, which support members of the community seeking to develop creative skills and access pathways to employment in the sector. With seven successful CEZs already operating, the Greater London Authority (GLA) plans to expand the programme over the next few years, introducing new zones around the city and providing funding for a diverse and ever-growing array of community projects.
Zetteler is proud to be working with the GLA to develop the communications strategy for the expanding CEZ programme, and to introduce the new zones as they are launched in 2022.
