Founded with a simple but powerful mission – to democratise access to the planning system – Planning Aid for London has been supporting ordinary Londoners since 1973. With a 50+-year-long history, its achievements are impressive, especially considering the charity is volunteer-led and provides entirely free support. Over the decades, its work has expanded from handling casework queries to delivering workshops, building toolkits, and leading cultural initiatives that make planning accessible, creative and inclusive.
