If you’ve seen eye-catching public art from world-class artists in the UK, there’s a solid chance UP Projects is behind it. For over 20 years, the charity has delivered socially engaged and environmentally bold projects across the country, bringing an impressive roster of artists out of the gallery and into parks, streets and communities.
Driven by a belief that art can shape the public realm in powerful ways, its programme collaborates with local people and tackles the urgent ideas that define our lives – from racial justice to the climate crisis.
Working with the likes of Aya Haidar, Sonia Boyce, Jasleen Kaur and Yinka Shonibare, its latest commission sees Anne Duk Hee Jordan creating two feminist and functional sculptural works which harvest, filter and circulate rainwater.
WHAT WE DO FOR UP Projects
Team Zetteler gets excited by art with a big message and a bold mission – so when the mavericks behind UP Projects asked us to help amplify their message and reach, we couldn’t have said ‘yes, please!’ any faster. Our PR campaign is promoting a series of ambitious new commissions, connecting with art critics and climate journalists alike.
