Volum is an independent exhibition platform launched by the team behind Norwegian Presence – the Milan design showcase set up 10 years ago – dedicated to presenting some of the most compelling voices in contemporary Norwegian design and craft. Volum 00 debuted during 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen 2025, with a thematic focus on collaboration, and the permeable line between design and art. In 2026, Volum 01 expands the platform’s scope from 10 to 15 designers, looking at the balance of beauty and utility in everyday objects and asking the question ‘What does it mean for an object to be “ordinary” today?’ Curated by Kråkvik & D’Orazio, managed by designer Kristine Bjaadal, and funded by Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Volum is part of the exhibition Other Circle, which explores contemporary design culture through an interdisciplinary lens, bringing together art, design, fashion, food, and music.
Zetteler has worked with Norwegian international design exhibitions for over a decade, and the team is excited to support this fascinating new iteration of Norway’s creative outreach for the second year.
